Nestled in the green hills of Pontida, this historic 13th-century building complex has been transformed into a charming resort: 12 rooms, a small spa area for max. 2 personns, a wine cellar and a restaurant that reinterprets tradition in a modern style. A place that preserves the memory of time and returns it in a new form – characterised by elegance, warmth and hospitality, the new gastronomy and accommodation offering of ‘Borgo Capietaglio’ in the municipality of Pontida, located about 13 km northwest of the centre of Bergamo, was created in spring 2025.
The property is located in a hilly landscape; the drive from the centre of Bergamo is relatively short but not fast and requires special attention on the more winding sections. We therefore recommend staying close to the hotel for dinner. Our sales team can recommend at least three excellent restaurants near the Borgo.

The first project was to enhance the vineyard surrounding the borgo, creating the Tellurit winery – an extraordinary example of the enhancement of the territory and the indigenous grape varieties of the Pontida area.

The Wine Resort at Borgo Capietaglio offers 12 rooms, each individually designed by botanical artist Margherita Leoni, which visually recount the local flora and make your stay even more exclusive. The costruction of an outdoor pool will be ultimated by Summer 2026.

It features a small spa area with private access upon reservation, as well as multifunctional rooms for events, tastings, and meetings. The restaurant, open to the public, combines the rustic and historic soul of the building with contemporary cuisine that honors the roots of the territory.

The selection of golf courses is also first-class and will make every golfer's heart beat faster: the two nearby courses, the Bergamo L'Albenza Golf Club and the Villa Paradiso Golf Club, are only 5 and 23 kilometers away, respectively; we also highly recommend the approximately 50-minute drive to the Franciacorta Golf Club. No matter what you choose to do during the day, in the evening you can return to a place of tranquility and enjoy nature with a glass of Tellurit. What more could you want?
